Al-Humaza سُورَةُ الهُمَزَةِ

The Traducer

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

وَيْلٌۭ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍۢ لُّمَزَةٍ ﴿1﴾

Woe unto every slandering traducer,

ٱلَّذِى جَمَعَ مَالًۭا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ ﴿2﴾

Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it.

يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخْلَدَهُۥ ﴿3﴾

He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal.

كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِى ٱلْحُطَمَةِ ﴿4﴾

Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One.

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحُطَمَةُ ﴿5﴾

Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is!

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُوقَدَةُ ﴿6﴾

(It is) the fire of Allah, kindled,

ٱلَّتِى تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةِ ﴿7﴾

Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men).

إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌۭ ﴿8﴾

Lo! it is closed in on them

فِى عَمَدٍۢ مُّمَدَّدَةٍۭ ﴿9﴾

In outstretched columns.
