That (is so). And whoso hath retaliated with the like of that which he was made to suffer and then hath (again) been wronged, Allah will succour him. Lo! Allah verily is Mild, Forgiving.

Nothing here is a fatwa, a prediction, or a substitute for a doctor: your own scholar decides what is contested, and the tradition itself says the practice is alongside treatment, never instead of it.
