24:12

لَّوْلَآ إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ ظَنَّ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُ بِأَنفُسِهِمْ خَيْرًۭا وَقَالُوا۟ هَٰذَآ إِفْكٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ ﴿12﴾

Why did not the believers, men and women, when ye heard it, think good of their own own folk, and say: It is a manifest untruth?

Nothing here is a fatwa, a prediction, or a substitute for a doctor: your own scholar decides what is contested, and the tradition itself says the practice is alongside treatment, never instead of it.
